Kites — good days for flying

Kite flying is the heartbeat of this scrapbook. This page collects the good-wind days, the kites themselves, and what I've learned about getting a kite up — and keeping it up — under open skies.

Why kites?

A kite asks very little: a bit of open ground, a cooperative breeze, and somebody willing to look up for a while. A good open field delivers all three often enough that watching the wind has become a daily habit — and the best days end up photographed for this site.

What makes a kite day here

A steady breeze rather than a gusty one, open space away from trees and lines, and light that makes the kite easy to follow. When those line up, the camera comes out — and the Gallery gets a new page in the scrapbook.

A note on this page: this is a hobby page in a personal scrapbook — not lessons, rentals, or a kite business. Just one flyer sharing good days.
